State Wrestling Tournament

The seven state qualifiers from the Weeping Water wrestling team traveled to the Qwest Center in Omaha to compete in the State Wrestling Tournament on Feb. 18-20. All the wrestlers did their best and two of our guys came home with medals. Tyler Blevins won third place in the 103 lb division and Shelton Mozena brought home a fifth place finish in the 152 lb division. Weeping Water finished 14th in the team standings.
